Friday morning while the system was in home mode I received an email stating a sensor had quit sending a signal. I tested the sensor by removing it and replacing it , it chimed and showed up as working on my dashaboard. While in away mode twelve hours later the same sensor triggered an alarm and my local PD responded,no break in thank God. Now the sensor shows as open and I have remotely set that particular sensor to not alarm.My question is will a sensor that fails to give a signal trigger an alarm in away mode but not in home mode ? Mode setting was the only diference in the instance.
