I purchased two cameras when they started beta testing and were on sale. I got them and hooked them up but the performance was marginal at best. Most of the time, when I went to take a look at the cameras, I got an error message that they were unable to display any video. Occasionally, I could check out the video but it did not last long. At one point, I could not get the cameras to work at all so called tech support. The tech talked me through the process and were successful in setting the cameras up again.

Auxilary Siren Issues
I've emailed twice but no response. Siren did NOT arrive with the pull tab for the battery. Is that a problem? I read in the Forum how to synch to the system so I did that but I want to test that it works. Seems like it's supposed to mimic the beeps from the base when set to Away. It does not. Read again in the forum about pushing back button repeatedly until 2 beeps are heard. Did this. Turn on system and extra siren still does not beep.
So does it work or no??? How can I be sure?

magnetic door sensor mounting - double stick tape failed
I want to attach the magnetic door part to the door with screws to prevent the re-occurrence of the magnet falling off the door. The magnetic part does not easily slide off the door mount and I'm afraid of breaking the door part of the sensor assembly if I try to force it with a screw driver.
What is the trick for removing, or is it not possible?

Smoke detector alarm
Two days ago, I got an alert stating that the smoke detector had lost signal, which is the first time this has ever happened. Today, I was minding my own business, and the siren randomly starts. I run to the keypad and it shows the smoke detector alarm. I type in the PIN and it shuts off. Then I go to inspect the detectors... nothing wrong, no smoke and anything unusual.
I log into my online interface and it doesn't even show that there was any activity. What is going on here?

Simplisafe iPhone app alerts not working
I've noticed today that I am not getting any alert notifications from the Simplisafe app on my iPhone when I arm or disarm my alarm. I've verified all my settings and restarted my phone. My wife is experiencing the same problem. I do still get SMS notifications, but the in-app alerts stopped working. Is anyone else having this problem today? I called the company and spoke with someone who wasn't very helpful and said he hadn't heard of the issue.

Is it possible to use just a base station and entry sensor, no keypad?
Kind of an oddball need, but I just need the chime when the door opens for this application. When travelling in our camper to our sons' homes, we are in and out of the travel trailer quite a few times during the day. We now have to lock the door as it is not in line of sight and it is a pain to have to lock and unlock every time. My thought is to have a door sensor on the camper door and a base station in the house so we can hear the chime if the door is opened. We don't need monitoring, just the remote chime....would that work?

I've just installed my Simplisafe system and do not plan to use monitoring. I'd like to disable the No Link to Dispatcher error. I understand that you can send a download to enable me to do that. Can I get that, please?

Panasonic CR123A batteries - smoke sectors?
Just installed two new smoke detectors and saw it said use only Panasonic cr123a batteries. Using others, could cause problems. Any reason why specifically Panasonic brand only while SimpliSafe sells another brand?
Also, I read lied there are different powers levels on CR123A batteries, like 1300mah, 1500 and so on. Any specific ones I should use for the simplisafe system?

App - Push Notifications
Within the past couple of days I seem to have stopped receiving my Push Notifications on my iPhone when the system gets armed/unarmed, etc. I might be inclined to think it may have something to do with switching to a new iPhone 8 plus, but I was getting them on my new phone up to maybe yesterday or the day before. The App undated on the 7th, but I'm pretty sure I had gotten some Push Notifications between now and then. Nothing else has changed that I know of.

Central Monitoring Response Time
I don't mean response time buy first responders, but the response call back time for the Central Monitoring station to call the house.
The other night, I accidentally set off the system, but triggering one of the entry sensors (I didn't set it up properly in the app). The alarm activated and during the time it took me to log into the app and deactivate it, roughly 30-45 secs, I did not receive a call to see if everything was all right.
Is there an expected delay time? Or did C.O.P.S. just drop the ball on it. If so, that's a bit concerning.

Instant Trigger - Home Setting
Noticed I can only use the instant trigger on the home + away or away only setting, but nothing for a home setting. I would think that it makes sense to have it instantly triggered if we're home at night, but that setting doesn't exist. Is there an update coming for it? I highly suggest that it does.

Motion sensors have just one strip of 2-sided tape down the middle, not one on each angled surface for mounting in corners
Just bought the 11-piece system at Best Buy in Tampa. Installing now. The motion sensors do not have 2-sided tape on the angled surfaces where they would attach to the corner of a wall, but instead has one right down the middle, making it only attachable straight on a flat wall. Not a huge issue, as I can now go down to Lowe's and buy some 2-sided tape, but this is an obvious manufacturing snafu.

Will Panic Button and Smoke Detector (plus fire dispatch) work in OFF mode?
From reading the forums, it doesn't seem you can set door entries to chime when in Home mode (even if you set the sensor to Home Only mode). If I'm wrong, please let me know, as my real motivation is to have the system armed (to protect in case of glassbreak sensor, or a fire detected), but when the nanny or kids go in or out a door, I don't want the alarm to go off.

CO Detector Install Height
It is my understanding due to CO being denser than air, monitors should be installed 5 feet from the ground.
It appears the SS CO monitors are to be on the ceilings. Is that safe, or is it "too late" once CO is dectatable on the ceiling?
