Changing my Alarm Settings

When I click on the link to edit my alarm settings, it takes me to the appropriate page but it is all gray. I am unable to make any changes to my settings. My base station seems to be operating with a strong signal, as I was immediately contacted after a manual test. What is going on with the site that doesn’t allow me to make changes?


SimpliCam Installation

I would like to install a SimpliCam inside an unheated building where temperatures could drop below freezing. SimpliSafe says "the functionality of the camera could be compromised" at temperatures outside the range of 41 to 104 degrees F . Has anybody tried this, or does anybody know if this means the camera will be damaged or just may not work properly outside that range?

Installing in cold or hot shed and garage detached from home

Can this be installed in nonheated detached garage and in a 12X20 shed detached. With no heat for winter or AC for summer and if so would I need separate keypad and sensors for garage and another one for the shed if they are not within range? Is there a problem with installing a system in the house, in the garage and in the shed? (three separate systems with keypads and motion and entry sensors)will branches moving outside the shed that can be seen through the window set off the motion sensors?

As another non published Simplisafe holiday approaches, just a post to let customers and potential customers know the Support Center will be closed next Thursday, November 23rd. This does not effect system monitoring, which is always open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

When and Why did the Simplisafe app switch to displaying a temperature "average" instead of a current temperature?

NO WHERE does it show what time period was used to arrive at this average. Is it for One Hour? Two Hours? One Day? Two Days? An Entire Month? Annual? After a bowel movement? After eight bowel movements?

Syncing 105 DB siren without keychain remote?

Is there a way to re-sync the 105 DB siren without using the keychain remote? My keychain remote is broken and I’m hoping I don’t have to purchase a brand new one just to get this synced again.

2nd Camera Setup

I'm trying to add a 2nd camera to my system. I get as far as the camera reading the QR Code. After reading the QR code, the blinking blue light comes on and the camera gives the following voice message:

"Your camera is ready for setup. Follow the instructions in the Simplisafe App to get started."

However, the app stays at the QR screen. The only options are to go back or to troubleshoot. There is no troubleshoot option for a blinking blue light.

What do I need to do to get this camera added?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
I have been having issues with the App when I tried to arm or disarm the system. I keep getting error message to check mi Wi-Fi or data... My phone connection is fine and I tried resetting the system and relocating it twice to different spot with same results.
The app used to work fine a few months ago. When I call support, I am on hold for over 20 minutes and if I leave message I don't get a call back.

Very disappointing the customer service support and starting to doubt if I made the right purchase with this system.

USB not working on Yosemite

On Mac OS X 10.10.5, I am getting error "We were unable to detect your Keychain Remote" wile trying to run the wizard. Using Safari 10.1.2. I had it working earlier today but now I can't load the page at all.

I also tried VMWare Fusion with Windows and that did not work either.

Base station stopped talking to sensors and keypad

I didn't change anything, but last night I started getting "keypad out of range" on the keypad. I reset the keypad (took out batteries) and reset the base station (unplugged and pulled batteries), and noticed that the keypad only works now when it's right next to the base station. A foot or so, not even 3 feet. Replaced both sides with fully charged batteries, no change.

We received 2 cameras. We have tried multiple times to install and neither is working. We have tried QR codes on an iPad, iPhone and Android phone. Neither camera will set up. Any suggestions?

Camera Stuck on Yellow Solid Light

For the second time my SS Camera has been stuck on a solid yellow light and for the second time SS is replacing the camera. Has anyone else had this issue?

Customer Service is great, but after about 20-30 minutes they run out of ideas and opt to replace the camera.

Hi All;

I've had a SimpliSafe system installed in my home for about a year and a half with no issues whatsoever.

About two weeks ago, problems started with the "no link to dispatcher" notification on the keypad, the corresponding email from SS ("We haven't received a test signal, yada yada yada).

I currently have a full (Leader package) SimpliSafe system in my home with additional components and two additional cameras. I am currently just using the system in local mode with no monitoring plan whatsoever. Both cameras send motion alerts to my SimpliSafe app on my phone as designed.

Can the keypad not BEEP?

Hi all,
I have a very sensitive dog. She has decided she does not like the SimpliSafe system. I am hoping she will forget about it if I can just get it to be quiet. I have it set so that my base station no longer talks, and the door chimes don't seem to bother her, but my final frontier to to try to get the keypad to not beep every time I change the system from one status to another. I tried to do it online and on the keypad itself, and I'm having no luck. Has anyone managed to do this?

Sorry if this is a stupid question. When you remove the base station cover, where exactly is the chip notating if it's Verizon or T-Mobile? And if it doesn't say either of these names, what am I supposed to be looking at to determine this?
