CO detector keeps dropping offline

Afternoon all

Just finished getting my system installed in the home I'm renovating.

Everything was a breeze and worked flawlessly, as advertised, except for the CO detector.

I pulled the battery tab out, mounted it until the yellow light turned off. Power light blinks every 15 seconds or so.

I have managed to only get it to communicate one time since installation and this was while I was on the phone with support.

Any ideas? I've reseated it, removed it from my system and re-added it via the serial number...all to no avail.

How do I go about troubleshooting an inoperable Siren?

Also, what is the purpose of the Programming Button on the back of the Siren?

When I tested my non-monitored system the Base Station Siren and only one of my two extra Sirens worked. I changed the batteries.

I'm a newbie, just got and installed the system. The keypad displays the above error - any suggestions?

Also, is there a way to search simplisafe's forums? DuckDuckGo provided references to older forum entries that really were not helpful - they were closed following support calls to SS, but no mention of solution steps.

Apple HomeKit

When will SimpliSafe work with Apple HomeKit?

My main residence is completely integrated with HomeKit. I've just purchased a lake home and installed a 21 device SimpliSafe system. Thermostats will work with HomeKit. The end result is that SimpliSafe is the orphan system across both residences.

I like SimpliSafe enough that I want to replace my existing security system in my primary residence with SimpliSafe. But I will only do this if it works with HomeKit. But, I wont keep it at my lake home unless it starts working with HomeKit.

Are there plans to move to HomeKit?

home mode when one person leaves

I am wondering if it is possible to have simplisafe in the "home" mode if someone leaves the house. Example: if someone leaves early in the morning for work while other folks are still sleeping, can the home mode be activated or continue to be active even though one person opened a door to leave?

Motion Detector Constantly "Sensing" Motion

Hello

The motion sensor on my system has been working fine ever since I purchased my system but it has started acting very strangely starting today. For some unknown reason it is constantly sensing motion ever two minutes or so. To test the sensor I replaced the battery and put the motion sensor in a drawer and it still senses motion every two minutes or so. Does anyone have any ideas why this could be happening? I've only had my system to two years so it would be very disappointing if the sensors have such a short lifespan.

Absolutely failing at email customer service. Not even responding within 4 days. The last time Took 3 days to respond. No chat feature either.
I will NOT recommend Simply Safe to my friends. Still waiting for my response on activating replacement keypad.
Someone dropped the ball over there.

Second Keypad - Out of Range

So bought a second keypad but it will not connect says "out of range" even when next to the other keypad which is connected. I've changed batteries, moved from 10 to 15 feet etc.. No Joy.

Simplisafe Software on iMac with High Sierra 10.13.1

Has anyone experienced problems executing Simplisafe software on Macintosh High Sierra 10.13.1. ? Up until now I could not run it on Mac Sierra or El Capitan. Seems like Mac is the orphan stepchild for Simplisafe.

Any advice or experiences shared would be greatly appreciated.

Instant Triggers questions

I have my front door and back door on a delay trigger so of course when you open the door you have time to key in the code. I have my motion sensors on delay as well because..... if they were on instant and you open the door to walk in and key in your code when arriving home, wouldnt they automatically trigger the alarm?

2 high decibel sirens

I have 2 high decibel sirens installed. One downstairs, and the new one upstairs. I got the 2nd one because my base station and high decibel siren is downstairs and we cant hear them with our bedroom door closed and fan on. On to my question.... the 2nd high decibel siren that is upstairs... when we arrive home and you have the keypad or base station beeping asking you to put your code in, the 2nd high decibel alarm also beeps in the same rhythm. Is that normal? Is there an easy way to fix that?

Issues with Mac OSX 10.13.1 and Windows under VMFusion

After much trial and error, both with and without being on the phone with SS Support, I have concluded that the Easy Setup Wizard does not work and play well with OSX High Sierra 10.13.1. (To be honest, it has been a problem child with OSX for years now.)

Change timestamp of camera motion alerts?

Camera not detecting motion

Camera is setup and operational. I have Privacy Shutter set to open for Off, Home, and Away. Sensitivity and Alerts set to High, and have Notifications and Motion Detection enabled. I walk in front of the camera from distances of 1’ - 15’ and no notification nor does anything show up on the timeline. I do get Notifications when I enable/disable the alarm system. What’s the problem?

blinking blue light from base station

My base station is blinking with blue light. My key pad indicate with no link to dispatch. I have not decided to activate my alarm system yet.
I saw a post regarding a download to resolve this problem. How can I get this software download.

USB does not work, keypad shows "out of range" and base station is 10+ feet away

Followed instructions on the front of the manual - plugged Keychain fob into laptop - no auto run, and will not run program no matter what I double-click.

Started to install base station and keypad. Keypad keeps saying "Keypad out of range", but base station is 10+ feet away.

How is SS safe from Jammers?

You can build your own Wi-Fi and Cellular jammer, in under an hour, using freely available guides and YouTube videos, and all of this from old electronic equipment in your own home. This mean the sensors operating on Wi-Fi can't connect to the base station and pass on the alert of an intrusion.
